Koina FC and Diabugu Ba Sillah FC have joined Demba Kunda Kurumba FC and others in the quarter finals of the Dynamic Sarahuleh Association for Changes and Development football tournament.

Diabugu Ba Sillah FC on Wednesday lost to Koina FC 2-0 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, but that does not stop them from qualifying to the quarter finals of the competition, as they have already collected 12 points before coming into their final game of the group stages.

Bagally Touray and Hagie Jabbi scored Koina FC goals in the 11th and 14th minutes of the game to earn their side all three points, which secured them a quarter final spot with 10 points.

On the same day, in the 3 pm kick off, Lamoi FC came from a goal down to trash Dippakunda FC by 4-1 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Molamin Drammeh gave Dippakunda FC the lead in the 19th minute of the game, but Adama Tunkara cancelled out his goal in the 31st minute of the game.

Ebrima Sano scored a brace for Lamoi FC in the 33rd and 55th minutes of the game to make it 3-1. Hagie Saho sealed the victory for Lamoi FC in the 58th minutes of the game.

Hagie Gumaneh head coach of Koina FC, speaking shortly after the game, described the game as “fantastic”, for his side noting that his boys really played well and created numerous goal-scoring opportunities during the game.

“The boys deserve the victory today, and I congratulated them for putting up a very good fight during the game”, he added.

Diabugu Ba Sillah FC coach Hagie Konateh said, “today was not our day because we did not lose a game since the start of the tournament.”

“The game was equally important to us, as any other game even though we qualified for the quarter finals coming into this game,” he concluded.
