Karmic Angels donates to RVTH

Karmic Angels, an international registered charitable organisation in The Gambia on 20 December 2010 donated medical materials to the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) in Banjul.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the public relations officer of RVTH, Baboucarr Ngum, said the management of the hospital were delighted to receive medical materials from Karmic Angels, He expressed optimism that Karmic Angels would continue to render more support to the RVTH.

Speaking earlier, the director of Karmic Angels, Alan Turnar, said his organisation was delighted at rendering support of quality medical materials to the RVTH, adding that the materials donated would contribute to improving the condition of the hospital.

He says his organisation stands ready to always render support to the RVTH with quality medical materials, noting that the donated items would aid the hospital in the discharge of their work.

Stephanie Turnar, a member of Karmic Angels, expressed appreciation with the management and staff of the RVTH for their commitment, hard work and dedication.

She also urged them to continue to work hard to improve the condition of the hospital.

According to Stephanie, their organisation also contributes to the education sector in The Gambia, adding that they have built four schools to promote education in the country.

Receiving the donated items, a senior staff of the RVTH, Fabakary Trawally, applauded the donors for their timely gesture, adding that the medical materials would be of great help to their work.
