Karamo Colley has once again been honoured with another leadership role after he was elected to serve as the chairman of the Foni Brefet District Sports Committee at a congress held in Foni Brefet recently.
Colley, who will be assisted by Musa Susso, who was also elected to serve as the Vice-President was a key figure of Bakau outfit Jullangel FC now called Unique FM, having played a part in helping the team reach the final of the league cup championship in Bakau last summer.
Bajerreh Sanyang, who will be assisted by Lamin S. Jarju was elected as the 2nd Vice-President during the congress, while Salieu Barry was elected to run the affairs of Secretary-General position, to be assisted by Buba Colley.
The treasure position was given to Ansu Sanyang, while Nuha Sanyang was tasked with the responsibility of serving as the sports Co-coordinator of the area, to be assisted by Sainey Sanneh.
Famata Fadera remains the only female member of the committee who is also tasked with the responsibility of serving as the Auditor and Sainey Gibba elected as the Public Relations Officer, to be assisted by Sang Pierre Corea.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Brikama Area Council Sunkary Badjie along side two other sporting personalities Ismaila Badjie and Omar Badjie have also been injected into the committee to serve as co-opted members, whose aim is to raise the standards of sports in the district before the expiration of their tenure of office.
