The sixteen teams, namely the league champions Steve Biko FC, knockout champions Alex Sanchaba FC, league runners-up Sunderland FC, knockout runners-up Gamcel FC, Commit FC, Late Dembo FC, Standard FC, World Eleven FC, Qcell FC, Dabani Electrical Enterprise Limited FC, Kajabang FC, Kund Dembo FC, Sibindinto FC, FC Halifax Town and Farms Construction and Engineering Company Limited/England will be vying for the championship title.
The teams are divided into four groups of four teams each.
The grouping is as follows: group A comprises reigning league champions Steve Biko FC, Gunjur giant killers, cellular giants Gamcel FC, Dabani Electrical Enterprise Limited FC, and Kun Dembo FC.
Group B consists of 2009-2010 league champions Commit FC, Late Dembo FC, Kajabang FC and Sibindinto FC.
Group C is made of up knockout champions Alex Sanchaba FC, Standard FC, FC Halifax Town and Solifo Investment FC.
And group D consists of Sunderland FC, World Eleven FC, QCell FC and Farms Construction and Engineering Ltd FC/England.
