The Junior Scorpions (CHAN Team) of the Gambia on Saturday earned a deserved 1-nil away victory over the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau in a friendly international.
Striker Yankuba Jarju scored the only goal of the encounter for the Gambia in the 29th minute.
The Gambia national home based team (CHAN) travelled to Bissau last Thursday 6th July for the return leg friendly international with their counterparts.
This followed a goalless first leg draw between the two sides in Banjul.
The return warm up leg was part of technical preparation for the Local Based National Team ahead of their African Nations Championships (CHAN) Qualifier at home to Mali slated for July 15th in Banjul.
