Justice Emmanuel Nkea of the Special Criminal Court in Banjul has adjourned the murder case involving one Awa Sanyang, for judgment.

The accused, Awa Sanyang, was alleged to have murdered one Isatou Bojang, some time in 2012, in Brusubi by hitting her with a wooden stick.

Challenging the plea of the accused person, the prosecution called five witnesses and tendered exhibits in support of their case.

The accused denied the charge, and opened her defence without calling a witness.

The court after hearing from both sides, adjourned the matter until 23 May 2013, for judgment.
