President Yahya Jammeh yesterday promoted three deputy ministers to the position of minister.
They are Mrs Teneng Ba Jaiteh deputy minister of Petroleum, Mr Solomon Owens deputy minister of agriculture and Mr Francis L. Mboge deputy minister of Works, Construction and Infrastructure.
A media release issued by the Office of the President, and aired over GRTS last evening further stated that the general public is being informed that the following ministries are been brought under the watchful eyes of the Office of the President: Ministries of Petroleum, Health and Social Welfare, Agriculture, Works, Construction and Infrastructure, Basic and Secondary Education.
The release added that these latest batch of ministries to be brought under the watchful eyes of the Office of the President are to refer matters to the executive for endorsement and final decision on key issues.
