President Yahya Jammeh yesterday appointed a new Minister of Energy, according to reports monitored over GRTS.
The new Minister of Energy is Sira Wally Ndow-Njie, who until her appointment was Deputy Managing Director of the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC).
The position had been vacant since the appointment of its substantive holder Ousman Jammeh as Minister of External Affairs in September this year.
