The 2014 West Coast Region third division league champions Jambanjelly United and runners up Gunjur United will represent West Coast Region in the 2014 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) third division triangular qualifying round.
Jam city boys Jambanjelly United lifted the West Coast Region third division league title, following their resounding 3-1 win over Brufut United in the final game of the season at the Brufut Football Field, to finished top spot with 21 points in eleven games, and three points ahead of runners up Gunjur United.
Gunjur United finished league runners up after their 2-1 victory over Busumbala United at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field, to snatch the runners up spot with 18 points in eleven games, and three points behind league champions Jambanjelly United.
Jambanjelly United and Gunjur United will join teams from Kanifing Municipality and Banjul in the 2014 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) third division qualifiers.
The two teams with the highest number of points will gain a promotion to the second tier.
It would be recalled it that Jambanjelly United and Gunjur United were both in the second division some years ago.
