Jamano will
rub shoulders with Comium in the 2013 Gunjur-Kunkujang village nawettan final
billed for Saturday 19 October 2013, at the Gunjur-Kunkujang Community Football
Field.
The most anticipated league final is expected to be graced by the president of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF), Mustapha Kebbeh, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Alieu Jammeh, and other dignitaries.
Gunjur-Kunkujang Sports Committee (GKSC) stated that Gunjur-Kunkujang were unable to participate in the previous Kombo South district football tournament.
The GKSC expressed their readiness to take part in the 2013-2014 Kombo South District football tournament, a trophy of which it says it hopes to win this time around.
According to GKSC, the tournament is meant to groom, nurture and develop young talents as well as scout good players that will represent Gunjur Kunkujang in the 2013-2014 Kombo South district football showdown and other tournaments.
