Tijan Jaiteh and club could not get a happy league starting as Sandefjord lay a deadlock game over Strommen in the weekend’s first league game of the Norwegian, second highest league.
Jaiteh, who made the line-up alongside Christian Brix, played the entire ninety minutes in a game that ended up in both teams sharing a point each.
Jaiteh is on his second season with Sandefjord, his fifth year of playing football in Norway after been loaned to Randers in Demark in the 2010/11 season.
He made 27 league appearances last season scoring two goals.
Sandefjord will play their first home match on Monday, playing host to Bodø / Glimt.
