The Ambassador of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire to The Gambia, His Excellency General Edouard Tapie Kassarate, and the Ivorian Diplomatic Corps in the Republic of The Gambia, wish to convey their sincere gratitude to the people of the Republic of The Gambia for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded the national team and officials of Cote d’Ivoire during the return leg of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers in Banjul.
The return leg was played in Banjul on Saturday 8 June resulting into the Elephants’ sealing a 3-0 double-leg win over the Scorpions of The Gambia.
