The GFA Division 1 leaders, Interior FC, continue in their defence of their title with an emphatic 4-1 victory over bottom place Makasutu, as the battle for the title heats up.
Adama Cham opened the scores for Interior with only 11 minutes on the clock to put Interior ahead in what was described as a mouth watering encounter on Sunday.
Makasutu who have conceded 24 goals and are yet to grab a point, fell 3-nil behind, when star striker Ya Dembo Sowe hit a brace in the 25th and 30th minute to give Interior a comfortable 3-nil advantage.
Saraba Coley's superb close range finish increased the score line to four.
Makasutu's consolation came from a rebound I the 68th minutes through Fatou Yabo.
The win was Interior's six in a row which took them six points clear on top of the division one table with only four games left.
In the latest standings, Company Ten and Red Scorpions are all level at second position with twelve points,
Abuko United is fourth with 9th points followed by Kinteh's with three points.
Makasutu are still rooted at the bottom of the table with no point.
