Interior FC, Bakau United share points

Interior FC drew 1-1 with Bakau United in the Week Two Saturday's 2009-10 Gambia Football Association (GFA) First Division League matches at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

Bakau United opened the score line through striker Ebrima Camara in the 50th minute after capitalising on Ebrima Kinteh's brilliant pass from the right side of the field.

Interior FC fought back and leveled the scores through substituted Dominic Demba in the 58th minute from a brilliant finisher.

Bakau United were reduced to ten-man team in the 85th minute of the game when Ebrima Kinteh was sent off after being shown a second bookable offence.

Kebba Touray, the Head Coach of Bakau United speaking to Pointsport, shortly after the game, talked about his team’s ambition of going in for silver this time around.

Despite having 7 players who are nursing their injuries, they are hopeful that they will return, said Head Coach Touray, who was not satisfied with the point as, according to him, his side should have collected the three points.

Interior FC Coach Ebrima Manneh pointed out that his team was the better side against Bakau United as they managed to keep the ball possession.
Head Coach Manneh who is set to do all means to make sure they stay in the First Division this time around promised to work with his technical team on their scoring tactics during training ground to enable them sharpen their striking force.
