Kong Bi FC are through to the semifinal stage of the ongoing Serrekunda West Sports Organisation (SWESO) Nawetan competition after beating Ajax FC 4-3 on post-match penalty kicks after drawing 1-1 on regulation time.
Biram Darboe opened the scoreline for Ajax FC in the 11th minute of the game from a powerful shot but they relaxed after scoring their goal, which Kong Bi FC capitalised on to level the score through winger wizard Modou Senghore in the 23rd minute of the game from a brilliant strike.
Francis Senghore had a great chance to double the lead for Kong Bi FC in the 32nd minute of the game but failed to capitalise on his opportunity.
Three minutes later Ebrima Jallow also had a golden opportunity to give his side the lead again but he also wasted his chance thus the game ended 1-1 resulting in penalty kicks, which ended 4-3 in favour of Kong Bi FC.
The win now means Kong Bi FC are now through to the semifinal stage of the nawetan competition.
