The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) on Tuesday beat the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) by a goal to nil in the second semi-final encounter of the NISA tournament to set a date to face the Gambia Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in the final on Sunday 18 November 2012 at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Ebrima Touray scored the only goal of the keenly contested encounter in the 60th minute from a brilliant free-kick to ensure his side a place in the final.

The Gambia Civil Aviation Authority, it could be recalled, advanced to the final after beating Gampetroleum by 4-2 on post-match penalty shootout after drawing 1-1 in the semi-final game played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda last Sunday.

Speaking to Pointsport, Buba Jallow, head coach of the Gambia Immigration Department (GID) shortly after the game, said they prepared well for the game because the Gambia Armed Forces beat them in the Super Cup final by penalties, noting that if a team beats him in a league he makes sure it does not happen in their next the meet in the same league.

He stated that if NISA should give them another 90 minutes against GAF, his team would win, noting that the referee denied them three penalties but they knew they were going to win.

They will prepare very well for the final and will emerge victorious at the end of the day, he said.
