ICC Regional Development Manager for Africa meets Gambia Cricket Board

Cassim Suliman the International Cricket Council's Regional Development Manager for Africa and Chief Executive Officer for Africa Association arrived in Banjul in the early hours of Monday, and proceeded to a meeting with the board members of the Gambia Cricket Association.

The six-hour meeting, held yesterday at the Seaview Hotel, gave members the opportunity to learn, exchange and share experiences with the high-profile cricket personality.

Mr Suliman who is on a three-day visit to the Gambia is also expected to meet the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Sheriff Gomez, and other state personalities today at  his office in Banjul.

The highly-experienced cricket maestro will also visit cricket playing facilities such as the MRC grounds, and the Gambia Cricket Association office in Banjul.

On Wednesday, members of the press will have the chance to engage the ICC ambassador in a marathon press conference to be staged at the Independence Stadium Hall in Bakau at 11 am.
