Unfortunately, the credentials of the God they had never experienced were not known to them. They had been freed from 430 years of slavery and had headed straight for the wilderness when Pharaoh changed his mind and took pursuit. "What have we done? They had known no other form of existence and the mighty hand of Jehovah Yahweh in the operations leading to their freedom - without a fight - had not left an indelible mark in their minds.
