Hawks will rub shoulders with Gambia Ports Authority in the week five fixtures of the 2012-2013 Gamtel-Gamcel sponsored Gambia Football Association, GFA’s division one league today, Wednesday 13th February 2013, at the Banjul Mini-Stadium.
Hawks, who are on the mid-table with 4 points in four games, will be hoping to bounce back, after their 1-0 defeat to Bakau United in their week four fixtures at the weekend.
Gambia Ports Authority are 2nd position on the league standing with 7 points in four games three points behind currently league leaders Real De Banjul, who bag 10 points in four games.
Elsewhere, Gamtel will host Bakau United in other week five fixtures at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium on the same day, Gamtel and Bakau United are 5th and 6th on the table, respectively with 6 points each in four games. They will be expecting a win in order to keep their title hopes alive.
Changes In League Fixture
Meanwhile, there has been a minor change in the Gamtel/Gamcel sponsored National League fixture concerning the Bakau United and Gamtel, initially scheduled for Wednesday 13th February, 2013, at the Serekunda East, which is now being moved further to March 13th 2013, at the Banjul Mini-stadium.
This change in week five is due to Gamtel’s international match against HLM of Senegal in the CAF Confederation Cup, scheduled for Sunday 17th February, 2013.
