Impeccable
sources close to this paper have said that Bakary Nyassi, the managing director
of Gambia International Airlines (GIA), had not reported for work for several
days.
The
sources said Mr Nyassi was not seen at the office for a good number of days.
Consequently,
this paper has been making frantic efforts to reaching Mr Nyassi on his cell
phone to verify the information, but he could not be reached up to the time of
going to press.
Meanwhile,
Zakaria Ceesay of GIA is said to be currently taking care of the affairs of the
company.
