Another rising Gambian rapper, Haruna Sey alias P-Thug, has hit the local music industry by releasing an 11-track album entitled 'Real Life'. With its lyrical power and high production quality, the album comes in CD format and is available and on sale at the market including at G-Click at Serrekunda and Bakau Farokono.
In a chat with Entertainment last Monday at The Point newsroom, the young Gambian rapper said the album was released on New Year day 2010. The Bakau-born artiste started music with the Crewcial Forces since he was very young, and said during that time it was hard but thanked the Almighty Allah for being able to cope with the situation.
"I did the whole album by myself," he added.
Haruna Sey lamented the lack of a thriving music industry for Gambian musicians, adding that this has affected local musicians. According to him the album will be launched soon.
He, therefore, called on companies and organisations in the country to come to his aid in order to launch his album. He also sent special thanks to Negrophill Recording Studio for giving him support to record his album.
