United on Saturday thumped Jambanjelly United 2-0 in the all-Kombo South derby
fixtures played at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field to clinch their first
victory in the 2016-2017 West Coast Regional third division league.

after losing to Jambanjelly United 1-0 in the all-Kombo South derby fixtures
played at the Jambanjelly Football Field, came all out for revenge against
Jam-city boys to fancy their chances of topping their group and advance to the
final and also increase their hopes of gaining promotion to the second division
next season.

Saikou Chorr alias Saikou Njie and Kan-sidia Touray alias Challa were on target
for Gunjur United in the game.

United reacted quickly for an equalizer but to no avail thus the game ended 2-0
in favour of Gunjur United.

fixtures played at the Sifoe Football Field on the same day to snatch their
first win in the new league.
