Gunjur
Rugby team recently started intensive training at the Gunjur Nyamina Football
Field.
The
team would use the training sessions to prepare themselves ready and fit enough
for future competitions.
The
team coaches, Abdoulie Janneh and Abou Jassey, said the team had resumed
training, adding that “new players are highly welcomed” to join the team.
According
to coaches Janneh and Jassey, they are planning to introduce rugby to the
neighbouring villages in Kombo South.
The
club is seeking support from members of the private sector, donors,
philanthropists, and individuals to realise their dreams and aspirations.
