The
Gambia Transport Service Company (GTSC) has put in place a new International
Express Service from Banjul to Koundara in Guinea Conakry.
The
International Express Service buses will be launched on Sunday 8 January at the
GTSC complex in Kanifing.
Called
“The Gambia International Service”, the new product will be running from the
Kanifing Depot in Gambia to Koundara in Guinea Conakry four times in a week.
The
objective of the new product is to offer reliable and affordable service to
Gambians, and the general public both within and outside the country.
The
transportation cost from Kanifing to Koundara is pegged at D1,440 per person
until end of January 2017.
The
new product is a “reliable service”, according to GTSC officials, and buses are
equipped with A/C and fans, free refreshments (free snack and drink), in-bus
video for entertainment, spacious seats, first aids kits, very comfortable
seats, experienced staff and a fast service.
Other
key product features of the new product are luxury midi couch, air
conditioning, fans, seat belts, curtains, fire extinguisher, first-aid kits,
in-bus entertainment.
The
new international service, which also offers a speedy trip to Koundara will be
officially launched on Sunday 8 January 2017, at the GTSC headquarters at the
Kanifing Deport.
According
to GTSC officials, about eleven institutions are invited to grace the occasion,
and “it will be a unique activity in the history of GTSC”.
The
GTSC officials wish to urge the general public to patronise them, as “this is
the most reliable and affordable service in the market”.
Customers
are further advised “to say no to poor service”, and the management of company
wishes all “the best for money with no hidden costs”.
