The Gambia Swimming Association will on Friday 22 April 2016, kick-start a three-day training clinic for thirty swimming referees and judges at the Gambia National Olympic Committee house in Kanifing.
To support successful performances in the pool, judges and referees need the best education and training.
The three-day clinic to be officiated with instruction by Samuel Greetham, a member of the FINA open water swimming technical committee and director of British Swimming, is aimed at offering technical know-how and promotion of best practices that can help the National Association to succeed.
The Gambia has five officials appointed to serve on the FINA Open Water Swimming Commission in January 2013.
