The current GFA Division One League leaders Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) yesterday morning left Banjul for Ziguinchor, to take part in the 25th Edition of West Africa Football Union-EYADEMA Cup, as they looked set to face Cassa-Sport of Senegal in the first-leg, slated for Saturday 15th May 2010.
The EYADEMA cup competition is expected to bring together teams drawn from various parts of the continent, namely Horoya of Guinea Conakry, ASC Comberene of Senegal, Cassa Sports of Senegal, USFAS of Mali, Athletico Coleach Guinea, Lobi Stars FC of Nigeria, Union Sportive of Benin, Stella club of Abidjan and Ailokana FC of Nigeria.
The under fire leaders who have seen their four points lead at the summit of the league table cut to only one point by their closest rivals Wallidan, will meet their Senegalese counterparts in the second-leg on 29th May in Banjul.
