According to therelease, the price reduction has been made after due consultations with the Office of the President, Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employmentand the Office of Importation Licence.
“The new price structure is aimed at improving air access and hence making The Gambia more competitive within the sub-region,” the release stated.
On behalf of His Excellency the President, the release continued, the Ministry of Petroleum would like “to thank all stakeholders for their cooperation.”
