The Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) in its
strike to help enhance and ensure sports administrators strive for effective
management and improve on their administrative approach towards sport and
sports development will organize a five-day administration course for
Presidents of affiliated sports Association in the country.
The course slated from 23 to 27 November 2015 at the Resource Center of the Olympic House, will be directed by Olympic Solidarity accredited course directors
The course aims at training National Sports Associations’ presidents on sports management andprovides efficiency in sports administration.
The areas to be covered include fair play, value and ethics of sports, office holders and their functions, challenges faced by sports administrators, women in sports, leadership, among others.
The course will be coordinated by GNOC development officer Mary P. Decker.
