With barely two weeks before the departure date of Gambia pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Gambia International Airlines (GIA) urges all intending pilgrims to rush now and complete payment for their Hajj tickets.
As today Friday, October 16th 2009 is the deadline for payment, GIA urges all those who are yet to complete their payment to come forward and do so without further delay. The timely response of intending pilgrims according to Baboucarr Fatty, GIA Public Relations Officer will enable GIA to carry out a successful hajj.
The GIA spokesperson also urges intending pilgrims to submit the following documents to its offices in Banjul and along Kairaba Avenue as soon as full payment is done: a valid Gambian passport; a medical certificate; a vaccination card and four (4) passport-size photos.
"It is important to note that the visa team from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is due in The Gambia on Saturday, 24 October 2009 to issue visas", PRO Fatty added, while commending all intending pilgrims for their anticipated cooperation.
