As part of events marking the 49th Independence Anniversary of the Republic of The Gambia, the Gambia Golf Association (GGA) will on Monday 17 February 2014 use its GGA Weekly to organise a Caddies’ Tournament for its top 6 registered caddies as well as cash prizes for the professionals.
“To celebrate our 49th Independence Anniversary, The GGA Weekly for Monday 17 February will feature a Caddies’ Tournament for the top 6 GGA registered caddies and cash prizes for the professionals,” the GGA states.
The tournament to be held at the Fajara Golf Course is sponsored by GreenTech Environmental Solutions/Anthony Tabbal, Lady Njaimeh Jawara, Gambia Golf Association and Ebrima Jawara.
It is understood the caddies who had some differences with the Gambia Golf Association have decided to put those issues behind them, and are ready to work with the GGA once again for the development of the sport in the country.
