The
Gambia Football Federation (GFF) on Tuesday 27 September 2016 met and discussed
with FiBank, the sponsors for the Super Nawettan tournament, ahead of the
kickoff slated for 8 October 2016.
The
GFF team was led by 2nd vice president Ebou Faye, who reminded the bank about
their earlier commitment to partner with the GFF for the next three editions of
the Super Nawettan.
Mr
Faye thanked the bank for fulfilling their commitment during last year’s Super
Nawettan and hoped that the institution would again live up to expectations for
the country’s community biggest football fiesta.
FiBank
officials headed by Mr Njie thanked the GFF for trusting them to sponsor what
they referred to as the most lucrative football tournament.
It
would be recalled that Serrekunda West won the 2015 Super Nawettan following
their penalty shootout win over Sukuta, after their goalless draw in regulation
time in a well-attended final game played at the Serrrekunda Eaat Mini Stadium.
