This is a constitutional requirement for the executive to hold a general assembly with its key stakeholders to discuss issues pertinent to the management of football, a press release issued by Bakary B. Baldeh, GFF Media Officer, stated.
The Extra Ordinary General Assembly will be attended by all football stakeholders across the country, the release added.
The convergence will, among other issues, avail the GFF executive the opportunity to read out the financial statement for Jan-Dec 2012 to the delegates and also present a technical programme for the 2014 calendar year, the release said, adding:“This will be followed by suggestions from delegates on matters regarding the new GFF Constitution.”
It also stated that there will be a joint Media Conference at the end of the General Assembly to keep abreast the media of deliberations made during the session, which could be of public interest.
The GFF executive takes this opportunity to thank all stakeholders for the support and collaboration aimed at strengthening the process of developing Gambian football.
The body further solicits the support of the general public for the realization of its set goals, the release concluded.
