GFF 2nd Tier Update

Steve Biko have maintained their hundred percent record in the 2014-2015 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division league, following their 1-0 win over newly-promoted side Immigration at the Serrekunda West Stadium.

The victory was Biko’s third straight win in the second tier, and the team is currently topping the league table with maximum 9 points in three outings, after their slender win over the security outfit.

Immigration are yet to secure a point since the start of the league in mid-January, and are struggling without a point in three games, after losing to Young Africans and Serrekunda East Bi in their two opening fixtures.

Seaview beat Young Africans 2-1 at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda; Lamin United thumped Tallinding United 4-2 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadiumto snatch their first win in the second tier.

Steve Biko and Samger are leading the race with maximum 9 points in three games, after winning their respective three opening games.
