The Normalisation Committee of the Gambia Football Association (GFA) regrets to inform the general public that the proposed countrywide tour to stakeholders in the regions has been postponed until further notice.

The tour is aimed at sensitizing regions on changes at the helm of affairs at the GFA, such as re-organization of the GFA League, restructuring of football in the regions and reviewing the GFA Constitution with the view to amending and aligning it with the FIFA accepted statues.

The postponement of the sensitization tour is necessitated by unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the GFA, according to Media Officer Bakary B. Baldeh in a press release.

Nonetheless, the release added, the Normalisation Committee wishes to reassure the general public and its major stakeholders in the regions of its burning desire to continuing working with them for the greater good of the game and would duly inform them of the new dates of the tour as soon as possible.

It further pointed out that the GFA apologizes for any inconvenience this postponement may have caused and would like to thank all the stakeholders for their renewed interest and undiluted commitment to football.
