GFA 2nd Division League Resumes Today

Action will resume in the 2008-09 GFA second division league today Tuesday 12th May as part of week twelve games. The league leaders Serrekunda East will meet GPA at the Stadium.

Serrelunda East are currently leading the table with 23 points from eleven games and hoping to bounce back from their disappointing 3-3 with struggling Lamin FC in week eleven clash over the weekend, while GPA are 2nd on the table with 22 points from eleven games and are hoping to beat Serrekunda East in order to top the table.

Serrekunda United will face Lamin FC at the Brikama Mini Stadium. Serrekunda East are 6th on the table with 14 points from eleven games and Lamin FC are 8th on the table with 11points from ten games with a game in hand.

Ham Ham will entertain Nema United at the Father Gough Football Complex in Manjai Kunda, Nema United are 4th position on the table with 15 points from ten games while Ham Ham are 7th position on the table with 12 points from eleven games.

Jambangjelly will clash with Young Africans in another week twelve encounter at the Brikama Mini Stadium, Jambangjelly are at the bottom of the table with only 7points from eleven games and hoping to bounce back to winning form following their 2-1 defeat in the hands of fellow strugglers Kaira Silo in their week ten match over the weekend.

While on Thursday 14 May 2009, Kaira Silo will take on Interior at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium. Kaira Silo are second from bottom with 10 points from eleven games, Interior are 3rd position on the table with 19 from ten games with a game in hand..
