Following his side's goalless draw with Serrekunda East in the Week Five of the ongoing 2009-10 Gambia Football Association (GFA) Second Division League at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Saturday 26th March 2010, the head coach of Latrikunda United, George Lobba said it was not a bad result for him collecting a point from Serrekunda East.
Lobba, the former national senior team goalkeeper also said one has to approach any team with a different format, but was quick to say that his game plan did not work out well against Serrekunda East resulting in goalless draw.
Head Coach Lobba also stated that Serrekunda East played better than them, adding that they would prepare well for their Week Six encounter against Tallinding United at the Serrekunda West on Friday 2nd April 2010.
He also said that there is no easy team as far as the Second Division League is concerned
Nyanga Sallah, the Head Coach of Serrekunda East said his game plan was to win the match, but added that they could not capitalise on their chances. As he put it, his strikers were not focused.
Head Coach Sallah also said that it was too bad for him to collect two points from two games. As he put it, they had the better hand during the game to score, but failed to convert them into goals.
He also stated that they would prepare well for their Week Six game against Banjul United at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on Friday 2nd April 2010.
He finally thanked his training staff and the fans of Serrekunda East for their support.
