Gamtel to spar with Wallidan in GFF FA Cup Round 16

Reigning FA Cup champions Gamtel will today clash with Wallidan in the round-sixteen tie of the 2014 Gambia Football Federation FA Cup competition at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Gamtel, who have won the FA Cup four times consecutively, will be vying for a win against Wallidan to progress to quarterfinal as well as fan their hopes of retaining the FA Cup the fifth consecutive time.

Wallidan will also be fighting for a victory against FA Cup champions Gamtel to sail to the quarterfinal as well as boost their chances of winning the FA Cup title after several years of trophy drought.

Samger will play against Gambia Ports Authority at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Samger will be going all out for a win against Gambia Ports Authority to sail to the quarterfinal and nurture hopes of winning the FA Cup title.

Gambia Ports Authority will be coming all out also for a win against Samger to advance to the quarterfinal and fancy their dreams of winning the FA Cup title after four years of trophy drought.

Police outfit Interior will take on Real De Banjul at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Interior, who lost to Gamtel 3-0 in the 2012 FA Cup final, are bent on putting up a respectable performance against Real De Banjul, to snatch a win to sail to the quarterfinal.

Real De Banjul, on the other hand, are reading the stars for a win against Interior to keep their hopes of winning the FA Cup.

Elsewhere, Brikama United will entertain current league champions Steve Biko at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Both sides will be vying for a victory against each other to progress to the quarterfinal after their dismal performance in FA Cup competitions in previous years.

On Thursday 8 May 2014, Bombada United will battle it out with Young Africans at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Bombada United will be hoping for revenge after losing to Young Africans 4-1 in the 2013 FA Cup round-sixteen fixtures.

Banjul United will meet Blue Star at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium. Both sides will be looking for a win against each other to sail to the quarterfinal as well as keep their hopes of winning their first-ever FA Cup.

Serrekunda East will face Lamin United at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, while Seaview will lock horns with Hawks at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium the same day.
