Gambia Bar Association President resigns

According to reliable sources, Lubna Farage, president of The Gambia Bar Association, has tendered her resignation letter on Thursday 9 June. No official reason was advanced to this paper for her resignation. Efforts were made to contact her for comment, but with no success.

The sources added that Salieu Taal, vice president of the association, is acting until a new president is elected.
