The Gambian duo Ebrima Sohna and Abdou Darboe will be playing their football next season in the Norwegian first division league after their team gained promotion to the first division league this season.

Sohna returned to club football after a historic performance with the senior national team in the World and African cup qualifiers against Senegal.

Sohna's return to club football with a full confidence after eliminating Senegal in the World and African cup qualification rounds, has given his club team a victory after scoring the only goal in their team's victory during the weekend to seal the team's promotion to the Norwegian first division league next season.

Speaking to this reporter after the game, Sohna said, "I am very happy about the goal and this was my first game after I returned from international duties and am hoping for more goals." Ebrima Sohna who was voted as man of the match could not hide his feelings after scoring the only goal of the game which also gave them a place in the first division league football next season.

It could be recalled that the Armed Forces striker Abdou Darboe who joins his Gambian partner will make his debut for the team when he turns 18 in December this year but is currently training with the team.
