Dr ABBAS KHADRA an outstanding Gambian Urologist Surgeon base in the United Kingdom last Friday onbehalf of the Gambian Children Trust a Charitable Organisation in UK donated 300 bed sheets, Antibiotics and Anitifungal tables to the Royal Victorial Teaching Hospital.
Speaking at the presentation Ceremony Dr KHADRA said his Organisation started eight years ago and its aim is to support Gambian Children in the area of education and health noting that over the years Gambian Children Trust has immensely contributed towards the health and education of Gambian Children.
Dr KHADRA is in the Gambia on a two weeks visit as guest of RVTH to carried operation at the Hospital free of charge.
In receiving the gift s on behalf of the Hospital Management Board the Chief Medical director at the RVTH Dr Mariatou Jallow thanked Dr KHADRA for the support
She called on the Gambian in the Diaspora to emulate from Gambian Children Trust to support The Hospital.
Dr Jallow commended President Jammeh for bring health to the door steps of Gambia.
