The
Gambia are bracing up for an international friendly game against Tanzania in
Dar es Salaam during FIFA international break later this month.
The
Scorpions will use the international friendly against Tanzania to prepare
themselves for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and also to improve
their ranking after elimination from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and 2018
World Cup.
The
Taifa Stars will also use the international friendly game against The Gambia to
prepare themselves for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers following
their elimination from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and 2018 World Cup.
It
would be recalled that Tanzania beat The Gambia 2-1 in the first leg of the
2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Dar es Salaam.
The
Gambia thumped Tanzania 2-0 in the second leg of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations
qualifiers played in Banjul.
