Gambia to leave for Uganda ahead of S/Africa clash

The Gambia National team will today, Friday 5 June 2015, leave Banjul via Dakar to Uganda for their crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers away to South Africa on 13 June 2015 in Durban.

The Scorpions will clash with Uganda in an international friendly game on Tuesday 9 June at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala, as part of preparations for their crunch 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Bafana Bafana four days later.

The Scorpions will hold series of training sessions at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala to prepare themselves for their international match against Uganda before leaving for South Africa for the AFCON qualifiers.

The Scorpions are hoping for a positive result against South Africa to fancy their hopes of qualifying for their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations.
