The Gambia Senior Secondary School has emerged as winners of the 2015 Gambia Secondary School Sports Association Inter-school Athletic Championship, after securing 305 points in the senior category of the championship which came to an end on Sunday at Farafenni, and thus defend their title in the process.
Bottrop Senior Secondary School finished second with 229 points, while Essau Senior Secondary School came third with 204 points.
Muslim Senior Secondary School came in fourth place with 193points, followed by Mahad Senior Secondary School at fifth position with 186 points.
Bansang Senior Secondary School were sixth with 132 points, and Berending Senior Secondary School came seventh with 72 points.
St Augustine’s, Sifoe and Tahir S=senior secondary schools finished eighth, ninth and tenth with 49 points, 47 points and 46 points respectively.
In the junior schools category, Latrikunda Sabiji finished in the competition as winners with 193 points to record their third consecutive crown in three years.
Barra/Essau Upper Basic School took second with 186 points and was followed by Brikama in third place with 131 points.
Tallinding came fourth with 101 points, and St Francis fifth with 95 points.
Kabafita collected 77 points; Kitty 69 points; Kanifing East 60 points; Bansang 59 points and Pakalinding and Presentation 57 points each.
