Featuring Gambia and Portland Timber centre-back Momodou Futti Danso and full-back Kebba Ceesay in The Gambia 2014 World Cup qualifiers at home with Tanzania on 7 September is doubtful.
While Futti Danso is currently nursing foot injury he sustained during Portland Timber’s pre-season friendly against Premier league side Norwich City, which will keep him out of actions for several weeks, Kebba Cessay is nursing ankle injury he picked up during Poland premier league game and will also be out for several weeks.
Futti Danso made his senior debut for the Gambia National team Scorpions in their 2012 Nations Cup qualifiers away to the Stallions of Burkina Faso in October 2010, in which the Scorpions lost to the Stallions 3-1.
Kebba Cessay made his debut for The Gambia in their 3-1 victory over Namibia in the 2012 Nations Cup qualifiers in September 2010.
Coach Peter Bonu Johnson’s charges are currently languishing at the bottom of Group F 2014 World Cup qualifiers with 1 point in five games, losing four and managing a draw against Morocco in the opening of the global biggest football fray in June 2012.
