Foundation
for Rural Education, Wildlife and Environment, a charitable organization,
recently donated jars of Vitamin A Supplement Oral Liquid Preparation (USP)
200,000 IH to New Yundum Health Centre.
The
Executive Director of the organisation, William Adetona, said it was a priority
of the organisation to provide vitamin A supplement for undernourished children
under the age of five.
Ebrima
Saine, a nursing officer at the New Yundum Health Centre, commended the
organisation for its intervention and promised that the vitamin supplements
would be used for the intended purpose.
