Fortune have been crowned champions of the 2015-2016 West Coast Regional third division league title at the weekend.
Fortune thrashed Misira United 3-0 in the final league match played at the Brikama Mini Stadium on Friday to claim the West Coast Regional third tier.
The Farato-based outfit are now set to represent West Coast Region in the upcoming Gambia Football Federation third division playoff against teams from Banjul and Kanifing Municipality for a place in the second tier next season.
Elsewhere, Gunjur United missed the chance to clinch the league title despite thumping Tanji United 2-0 in the all-Kombo South derby played at the Sanyang Football Field on the same day after Fortune edge-past Misira United 3-0 in the other game to claim the league title.
Fortune finished as the league champions with 36 points in seventeen games, while Gunjur United finished runners-up after grabbing 35 points in seventeen league matches.
