Flex Production Studio to shoot movie audition, ready to shake Alliance Franco

Preparations have been completed to shake The Gambia movie industry as Flex Production Studio will be having a movie audition Saturday 5 October and Sunday 6 October 2013 at the Alliance Francaise on Kairaba Avenue.

Aimed at taking the Gambia movie industry to higher heights, the event is proudly organised by Flex Production Studio, in conjunction with Afrinity Production.

In a brief chat with Point Entertainment and Lifestyle at Flex Production Studio, Flex Kallay, CEO of Flex Production Studio, said preparations have been completed to shoot the audition at the weekend, noting that flex Production Studio is committed to bringing the latest and hottest releases in music, movies, and entertainment productions.

“We are one of the best when it comes to video and multimedia projects, commercial film and audio publicity, television services, event documentaries and other activities,” he said.

Flex Production Studio commences its operations with audition, which is one of its first projects, he said, adding that after the audition there will be movies which will be shot in The Gambia.

CEO Kallay told Entertainment and Lifestyle that they have all the machines for shooting, adding that people have done audition but this “will be different”.

Flex Production comprises six members four of them are Gambian and two Nigerians. “We are basically interested in production,” he said.

Adams, CEO of Afrinity Production, said lovers are invited to the Saturday event which starts at 9pm onwards and Sunday at 1pm till late at the Alliance Francaise, Kairaba Avenue.

“We have seen a lot of filmmakers coming to this country making a way here,” he remarked. “We have talented Gambians who can also make a way and our target is to support those with talents.”

He continued: “Our aim is not only to take The Gambia as a tourist destination but to also develop the movie industry.

“We are here to retain, sustain the talents of these Gambians and the whole idea is to promote ‘The Gambian talent’ when it comes to movie. The audition is free.”
