Eight lottery players recently won the Gambia National Lottery jackpot.
The lucky players received cheques for D109,600 at a ceremony held at the GNL Westfield branch.
The winners included Samba Kandeh, Yusupha Jammeh, Lamin Fatty, Eliyeh Gibba, Roger Coron, Omar Njie, Amadou Juldeh Sowe and Mustapha Njie. Each of them went home with D13,700.
Speaking at a brief presentation ceremony, the Product and Development Officer at the Gambia National Lottery, Nyawuru Koma, thanked the winners for their loyalty to the GNL company.
He said a gathering of such is always a way of showcasing the GNL’s commitment to national development.
Mr Koma encouraged GNL customers to continue playing the game for their own betterment and their families.
At GNL they are ready to change the lives of the Gambians and non-Gambians, he stressed.
The winners, for their part, commended the GNL management for making an impact in their lives and promised to continue to play the company’s lottery.
