Edward
Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH), the country’s main referral hospital
and the Center for the Street Children and Child Trafficking Studies (CSCCTS)
last Thursday received a donation of wheelchairs, Crutches and air conditioner
by a newly formed charitable organisation, Sulayman Sawaneh Foundation for the
Needy.
At
the presentation ceremony held at the center in Bakoteh, the Foundation’s chief
executive officer, Sankung Dibbassy said their contribution is geared towards
nation building, adding that the items would provide better health standards
for all.
Receiving
the items on behalf of the EFSTH management, operations manager, Adama Mbaye
expressed appreciation to the Foundation and its members over the donated
items.
He
assured that the foundation will be used judiciously, while also commending the
foundation for being part of the hospital’s major donors for the past
years.
Receiving the donated item on behalf of
CSCCTS, Sheik Sarr and Momodou L Jaiteh, logistics officer and coordinator of
the center, both expressed their readiness to fully support the foundation at
any time the need arises.
