Ecomog, Mariken Investment sail to Gunjur Knock-out quarterfinal

Ecomog and Mariken Investment have both sailed to the quarterfinal of the 2019-2020 Gunjur knock-out competition after winning their second round matches, played at the Gunjur Upper and Senior Secondary School football field on Saturday.

Sifoe based-team Ecomog defeated Red Star Family 4-3 on penalties to progress to the last eight after the normal time ended 1-1.

The Investment boys beat Smateq 4-3 on spot-kick to cruise to the last eight following their 1-1 draw in regular time.

Strong FC and Asselem FC’s match was postponed due to the death of Strong FC’s coach grandfather.
